Created by Ensiferum's former frontman Jari Mäenpää, Wintersun offers majestic and melancholic sounds with epic melodies and complex guitar solos. The music is harmonius and emotionally packed, and utilizes Finnish folklore traditions. Wintersun comes from the land of long, cold and dark winters and the music reflects just this.
